Rahim Nas, mbacp

At times the line between who we are and who we’ve learned we ‘should be’ can blur, causing anxiety and internal conflicts.

Your thoughts and feelings don’t need to be resolved or understood to be expressed and heard.

More about Me Below

About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm Rahim, I offer a therapeutic, non-directive space for you to organise your thoughts out loud, vent what you might otherwise not be able to in daily life and express your emotions as you are heard and accepted.

I work with adults who are experiencing relationship issues, issues at work or those who feel stuck in a cycle they can't get out of.

If you are living with depression, anxiety, overthinking, or struggling with limiting beliefs, our sessions will be a non‑judgemental safe space for reflection without interruption, where you will not be told what to think or do.

My role and intention is for you to gain a deeper understanding of the issues that bring you to counselling. To be present with you as you, pause, reconnect and process what is going on for you.

Your thoughts and feelings do not need to be resolved or understood to be spoken about. You, as you are now, will be welcomed and acknowledged in the space we share as client and counsellor.

Training and experience.

I am a humanistic, Person-Centred counsellor and as a registered member of the BACP I work within their ethical framework.

Through extending empathy and acceptance, I trust that you know your experience best as I actively listen, ensuring that your voice is fully heard.

This atmosphere can be supportive in untangling thoughts and feelings that might be overwhelming for you right now.

To help identify what is truly yours from the "should be" and "supposed to be" type of learned thoughts you may have picked up along the way.

Our sessions can be a place to take a breath, sit back, and at your own pace, begin to process these issues as they feel for you right now, without any expectations or judgements.

My own therapy journey was clarifying and transformative. I now hold space to support others in discovering what clarity might mean for them.

First session

The beginning of the first session could be that moment of introductions, to settle into the new space and dynamic.

If you want, we can discuss what brings you to counselling and take it from there.

It is your space to share when and as you feel ready to.

Online-Video Sessions

Whether due to scheduling issues or simply preferring to have online sessions from your own space, online-video sessions are effective and accessible.

I only ask that you ensure you are in a space where you will not be interrupted or overheard in order to maintain your privacy.

In-Person Sessions

If you prefer to have In-person session, I am based in

'The Forum at Greenwich', with comfortable seating and a cosy atmosphere for therapy.

The building is wheelchair accessible and has working lifts.
